Wirelessly Save Your Digital Photos to a Network Folder
I had the opportunity to setup a cool new device the other day. The Eye-Fi is an SD card with built in wireless. It allows you to configure the card to connect to your wireless network. When you take a picture, photos are automatically saved on a network folder. There are also iPhone, iPad, and Android apps that allow you to save the photos to your mobile devices. If you prefer, you can even upload your pictures to your favorite online sharing sites such as Flickr, Shutterfly, Picasa Web Albums, and others. If you take the camera out of wireless range, it will save the pictures as soon as it is able to detect your wireless network.
